I'm @ 110 lbs weight loss @ 7 months now and just now started doing cardio!
That shit kills me I thought 7 months of heavy lifting would raise my endurance lol.
I'm doing 60 min of cardio on 20 stairs / 20 elypt / 20 tread at 24 hr fitness along with my normal weight lifting @ home.
Should i do cardio every day?
Now I do strength training mon, wed, fri, and light weights high reps on tues,thurs,sat... How much cardio should i do? Remember im on a 1000-1500 calorie a day diet.

I do cardio 6 days a week, running/swimming, but what I'm training for revolves around it and strength. So i would think I is mainly based on what you are trying to accomplish. If just trying to get in shape/lose weight i would do it 3x a week. JMHO
If you're still trying to drop weight, more cardio is better. Also, if cutting, lift lighter weight, more reps, less break time or try combination excercises - i.e. dumbell curl into a shoulder press or squat-thrust/push-up/jumping jack...

Increase heart rate = decreased wasteline
i usually do a brisk inclined walk on the treadmill. it gets into my target heart range and i find it easier than running so i can do it for a longer period of time.
1500 calories while lifting AND running? Jeeeeez. I'd be doing at least 2000-2200. You're not getting much nutrition at 1500/day with that workload. Your muscles burn more calories while rebuilding too.

You can never do too much cardio. ;) But lifting does increase endurance. Before I started lifting I tried running to get into shape. I could barely make it 10 minutes and it absolutely killed me. I'd be tired all day. Now I can run almost 20 minutes and fully recover from it within 5 minutes and still have energy the rest of the day. I think I could do 30 if I wanted to. Lifting as much as you can and with only 30 second breaks inbetween sets is almost as effective as pure cardio.

Edit: Oh and MAJOR props on losing 110 lbs. That's fucking awesome!!

Yeah I was about to say with all the lifting you say you're doing sounds like you need some more cal intake man....
wow thats a nice number for weight loss in 7 months.. lapband or something?? or did you just redo your life?
I did it all natural! Now I'm doing 1400 calories a day and see how that goes lol.
what were you and what are you now?
Seven miles on a mountain bike is about an hour of cardio. I just did it yesterday (first time ever) and I thought it beat the shit out of staring at the wall on a stairmaster.

Well i started my diet before i weighed myself, but when I weighed the first time I was 6'3 @ 362 60% body fat. Now I am 6'3 250 28% body fat. But If i had to guess my starting weight.. I was 375-380.
