can a felon rent anywhere?
anyone know where i can find someone that specializes in finding apartments/townhomes for felons or a person with a serious misdemeaner?

Why have these felon threads recently all started out in the third person.....
I had to go through an apartment locator service to find an apartment. There are certain cities that dont have any apts that rent to felons. I was lucky to finally find one in grand prairie. Rental houses are harder to find.

i dont have a felony its a class a misdenmeaner buts its a violent crime against another person and iv spent waaaaaaay to much money in application fees only to have someone tell me its alright ill be approved then turn around and tell me im not aproved and my money is non-refundable.

i have a cousin, and friend who just got out the pen and they didnt learn jack hopefully thats not you

yeah i thought alot about it but i think im just going to get a apartment or townhome close to my job. my job plans on moving but i dont when or where exactly so whenever i find that out i will be looking into buying.

My brother is in the same boat as you and I've had no luck finding him a place to rent when it comes to apartments. Rent houses may be a different story but your going to have to do a ton of searching....I'd try CL.

you can try the same guy im talking to at the moment i posted up his name and number few post back. so far he has found me 2 apartments one is a hour from addison all the way in prosper and the other is 10 min from my job!
how far back to apartments go? my felony is about 10 yrs old...
