So someone point me in the direction on the cams. Should we go custom grind or are there some off the shelf cams that would work perfect for us.
glad you chimed in on this. thanks man, will give him a call then.Call Jim at Cushmanmotorsports.com Their stage 2 cams seem to love nitrous but I am sure he can hook you up. Tell him I sent you his way...
I went with hitech stage 2 cams on my car and it put down 281 hp and 302 tq and i don't think my tune is all the way there yet but not bad for an auto car and it was hot as a mofo that day in the shop just my .2 cents all my mods are in my sigSorry to invade the post but i have a full bolt on non pi shortblock with stock pi cams heads and intake. Due to the heads on the shortblock would i be able to run a set of aftermartket cams if they are installed and degreed correctly?
My old set up was a non pi motor on a 125 wet shot with all the same bolt on's(slow i know) and then i did the 03 swap with just hitech stage 2 cams no aftermarket spring's and my car picked up a tenth but run's a slower mph i am not saying it's fast now i am just saying that i like my car a whole lot more now than i did before :banana:hitech stage 2 are the best cams for a bolt on car and nitrous but i put cams in my car and ran close to the same times and mph and it pick up 40 whp and put down 307/310 so if i had to do it again i would have just bought a k memeber and coilovers
