A buddy of mine has an '08 BMW K1200LT cruiser that needed a new rear tire. He wanted to have a little fun with the old one before replacing it. He requested info on how to achieve the feat from fellow K1200LT owners on the BMW forum and was flamed for even considering such a ridiculous thing with God's gift to motorcycles :spank:. Based on info he received it couldn't be done due to the integrated braking system with ABS. We decided to find out for ourselves. We could have spent a little more time and made it a little more impressive, but he really didn't want to do any REAL damage to a $25k bike :dunno:.

I'd love to see what those BMW owners have to say about that video.

So far the responses have been relatively good. The flamers may not have seen it yet :soapbox:
