I play the PC version of Battlefield Vietnam nightly and have already pre-purchased Battlefield 2. The videos look awesome and the graphics have taken quite a step forward from BFV and BF1942. The PC versions are great because the MOD community comes out with unbelievable quality Mods that are better than the original. Let me know how the PS2 version is. Thanks.

Man I can't wait for BF2, BF:V is a poorly coded game imho.
I am already getting my rig up to snuff by upgrading my mobo and cpu !

well I will let you know when I get the beta and If your close to Arlington or not and want to drop by and check it out give me a shout. From what I've read it should be a cool game. 30 + vehicles to drive (everything from humvees to helicopters including attack speed boats) and 50 something weapons to blast people with. Looking forward to playing it.

Roliath, I have a rig similar to what you are building. AMD 64 3200, Asus K8V SE Deluxe motherboard, 1.5gb of Geil PC 3200 Ultra Platinum, BFG 6800GT OC. I just recently upgraded so I am still tinkering with overclocking. I am just below 3500 speeds and stable as a rock. I just ordered an NV Silencer5 for my video card so I can overclock further and I plan on unlocking the last four pipelines. BFV was crap when it first came out. EA rushed the game to market with way to many issues and then the first patch took nearly three months. I play only Mods because they are superior to the original game. POE .3 is an awesome Mod that adds so many things to the game. POE is about all I play anymore. I have BF2 pre-purchased so I can't wait for the release, although they keep pushing it back. Hopefully this means they will do it right this time.

6800GT's already have all pipes unlocked (16/6) with GDDR3
6800NU's only have 12/5 pipes open, with DDR memory,

Did you mean that you have an NU (plain jane) 6800?
Either way it is still a bad ass card, and RivaTuner is the only way I know of, to softmod 6800NU's.

Good luck!

And Yeah I hope to get my AMD system together pretty soon, and will post benchmarks if anyone is interested.

I have the BFG 6800GT OC and my previous PNY 6800GT had all 16 pipes unlocked but for some reason Riva Tuner 2.0 RC 15.4 shows 12 pipes on my BFG card. I am going to do some research to see if I can figure this one out.

Actually, performance wise it runs better than my PNY did so I assume the card is fine. I am going to try the video card in another PC and see what Riva Tuner says there. Everything else is at Mfg specs. I ordered an NV5 Silencer cooler for it today so I want to get this straightened out before it arrives.

Funny, I actually have that bookmarked and used it before. I did try it on my card and doesn't seem to make any difference so apparently they are unlocked but for some reason Riva Tuner is not showing it. I put the card in my older PC and they all show unlocked and functional.
