Anyone on the boards work for loomis? I took their polygraph test for employment the other day and suprisingly failed! I have taken many lie detector tests for police departments and passed them for pre employment. The questions I failed were have i done any illegal narcotics in the past 2 years ( have not ) and if I have stolen from an employer which i havent either. I am really starting to think it was just some sort of joke. The polygrapher didnt know what she was doing it seemed half the time. Anyhow wanted to see if anyone had actually passed this ladys test cause i should have

I work for loomis and passed the polygraph without a problem and i had to lie a bit about the drugs, and speeding tickets. I take it you were doing this at Dallas? Were you dealing with Joy or Sherie?
It was sherie, little blonde. Yes it was at dallas. I don't do drugs and I havent stolen from an employer yet I failed that. I didnt even think i was really nervous at all. I am used to these tests by now it is now biggie. Just was looking forward to working for this company and was kinda let down because my polygraph was messed up.blue302stang said:

I work at the Ft. Worth branch, so i don't know who did your polygraph. We go through quite a few driver/guards over here and have 3x more than we need apply for the jobs that don't get hired. It might be worth a shot to call sherie back up and see what the deal was or if you can try it again. I can guaruntee you that 95% of the people here lied on their polygraph and somehow passed.

thats surprising. When i went in to fill out paperwork their were some straight up crack heads in there on interviews. They give everyone a chance, but only 25% make it through all the tests.4.6 Love said:I applied there, never got a call back....

not with all the tests you have to go through. Their is still an extensive background and drug test and a very thorough physical. Plus than once your hired you have to do a drivers safety course and testing to be a commissioned officer. Luckily i am a mechanic and didn't have to go through the commission class.MachX2 said:

Same, i think what he meant was when he got called in for an interview. They give you a stack of paperwork to fill out. Dont think they will let you in the building unless you have an interview or work there. Its all online applications.4.6 Love said:

yea, they have a list of confirmed interviews for the day and they have to check that to your drivers license. No camera phones allowed in the main building.

Has anyone have any information on Polygraph Testing? Or has anyone taken a Polygraph for a LE job?
