I have the harmony one, what are you trying to do...? Not really sure I can help, the software is kinda frustrating...
I have the 880, I believe. It fucks up about 20% of the time. I'm less than thrilled with it.
i have a 550. i like it good enough. i messed with the settings extensively.
I got a 1100 and its a POS!! I wish I would have gone with the one instead but of course the touchscreen made the geek in me giggle like a school girl.

Im having issues too though. Setup fav channels and instead of going to 1120 it goes to 1110 and I have verified everythign in the software multiple times. Also the buttons for the PS3 dont show up like they do for the xbox even though the software shows they should.

Also it wont turn off my projector because to turn it off you have to push the power button, wait a second and push it again to verify you want to power it down.

there should be timings for that. on top of that, i have to point the remote correctly otherwise the projector misses it.

What problem you having with it, I have an 890 for years with no problems. Heck, when I have little parties - drunk people can operate all my stuff. w/o the remote they would be all jacked up. :)

I only control

TV, XBOX, Receiver, TiVO and DVD player these days though.
I have the Harmony 550 and I can get it to do everything I need it to do. Customizing is a bit of a pain in the ass but I would probably buy another one when the time comes. I mean, it could have been cheaper but it has some pretty cool features that lesser remotes don't have.

The one thing it does that kind of pisses me off is that sometimes it was start glowing for no apparent reason. It will just be sitting on the coffee table and then just light up.

I control the following:
TV
Three different satellite boxes (Dish, Sonicview, Captiveworks)
DVD player
Receiver
HD OTA receiver

it's like a puppy. it just wants you to pay attention to it.
Sometimes (quite often, actually), mine will decide that all of my devices are turned off, in the middle of changing channels or something. Obviously, they are on, and not off. But you can't just tell the remote that it's wrong, and everything is still on, just like it all should be. No, you have to hit help, and then go through each step, telling the remote which items are still on, so it can turn them off.

"Did that fix the problem?" Hell no! I shouldn't have to turn everything off and back on in the middle of watching something, just to get the remote back on track.

It also tells me that the battery is low a lot, even though it's not. Out of nowhere "Battery Level Low" comes on, but the little meter is full, and it ends up lasting a couple more days. By the way, 2-3 days is all I can get out of a full charge. It makes "iffy" contact with the charger. I've cleaned the contacts, but I still have to tap it jsut right to get it to start/keep charging. The battery inside the remote seems kind of loose inside, which may be causing the other issues.

It's cool when it works, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. I sure wish it had Bluetooth as well.

If it vibrated, I would introduce it to my wife.

Got it running a Samsung LCD, Pioneer A/V Receiver, Samsung Blu-Ray & a Dish 722 VIP. Seems to have a problem going to TV (Off Air) and sometimes to Satellite. Mainly does not want to go to the right input on the Pioneer Receiver.

The receiver is too smart......it sees a signal like the off air antenna and wants to switch to it instead of my Sat input. Not sure if I should add some time delay or change the order.

Any suggestions? :confused2:
Why not a small delay and have the receiver setting go last? I know my Panasonic TV had some gay ass problem and I basically had to set the same setting twice. It was an issue with the way the TV did things, not necessarily how the remote worked.

Also, there are forums for each product at the Logitech site. That's where I've found answers to these little mysteries. (search 'em, chances are someone already asked)

I will try the delays and different order this week.
