Protien shakes, chicken breast, tuna, and egg-whites. ating it all day-every day gets kinda old. The price of fitness...

actually that's pretty much all I ever ate. Chicken and tuna I like to eat, just have to make it different ways. I like the protein shakes because the stuff I get tastes good and I know it's helping. Haven't been eating egg whites but I'm going to pretty soon.

I know what you are talking about Playa though and I'm sure everyone else feels about the same.

Hahaha...

Now that my mileage is up over 60-70 miles a week running, pankcakes, all eggs, <b>red meat</b>, nachos, enchiladas...

I ran 20 miles on Sunday. My diet for the day was:

Banana, oatmeal
20 miles running (with 64 ozs of gatorade, 3 gu)
Grand Slam at Dennys
lots of water throughout the day
2 power bars
The "Grande" at Abuelos + their cheese dip + Corona
Bowl of Sorbet before bed

I'm still down 2.5 pounds for the week. :)

Distance running is cool.

Distance running is cool.
Not when strenth, size, symmetry, and balance are of the essence.:)

you can run 10 miles to the wall.. and then not be able to get past it.. i prefer top lumber my way there.. eventualy getting there, but being able to move the house out of my way to get to where i'm going:)

Haha. True... I run not because of strength, size, symmetry, balance, or fitness. I run because I like competition.

My mother asked me the other day why I run the miles I do, since it is clear that if I wanted to, I could run a marathon with quite less miles per week (I'll probably max out at 90+ before hp houston marathon).

Its all about competition, getting that top 10 in my age group and top 50 overall...

But my symmetry is pretty good. I'm skinny all over!

yea, yea, I can still bench 225, I can still do 20-25 pullups. :)

Made it up the wall at Galayns at StoneBriar mall on Saturday to ring the bell.

I just don't have that 400lb bench strength. ;-)

yes but ive found some things to spice it all up and make it actually desireable:)
1)mustard in tuna with 2 hardbioled eggwhites
2)ice and peanutbutter in protein shake tastes like a malt
3)slice of ham in my AM eggwhites makes it taste gooood
4)steak is always gooooood
5)sugar free jello is good to fill a growling stomach and has a neglagible effect on blood sugar:)

after long enough its not an option you just feel like you are obligated to do it! wouldent trade my tuna/steak/chicken for all the McDonalds in the world!

When I do eat egg-whites only (egg beaters or something similiar), I also throw in some ham, peppers, onions. Top it off with some Blue Goose Hot Sauce.

I don't even know there are eggs in there.:)
