Have heard of an 8mm remington mag but not and ultra.
Thats not to bad try to imagine what a 10lb Weatherby Mark V chambered in the ever potent .460 Weatherby Magnum.I think it would depend on the actual rifle. Remington started chambering that round (8mm Remington Mag) in 1978 and ran it until 2008. Considering their propensity to kill off proprietary cartridge designs before they really ever really get going, that might well be a record for them. I found a listing for a, "Model 700 Mountain Rifle," chambered in 8mm mag, and I had to wince. I can't imagine the recoil of something that can be loaded to around 4,200ft/lbs of muzzle energy in a 6.5lb rifle. Yikes!
Pass on both accounts.Thats not to bad try to imagine what a 10lb Weatherby Mark V chambered in the ever potent .460 Weatherby Magnum.
I can't say that I'd at least try them each one time.Pass on both accounts.
