cobracloud Do a search on www.testosterone.net for a LOT more info on the flax seed oil - they even have an insane diet (that I don't have the balls to try) that is based entirely around the stuff....It's great! (tony the tiger voice)

It's a matter of convenience. I'd say the liquid for is better in the fact that you don't have to be swallowing gel every time you take it, but as far as the positive effects are concerned, there is essentially no difference because the "pill" form is simply gel-caps filled with the liquid form.

Big A Looks like you're on the right track. I'm thinking I need to add some EFA's to my diet too, I'm getting about 10 grams a fat per day, and I can feel it in my joints and skin. Patience is a virtue so keep it up, and get back on a building phase as soon as you get down to where you want to be. Ahh, the rollercoaster of bodybuilding....

bully1027 heres a pic from the AM. i hold no water in the morning but at night as you can see from the second pic im bloated as a blimp............i cant figure out why.........

The timing of when you take in your extra carbs is critical if the goal is to saturate your muscles with glycogen.

bully1027 i just carbed up today, its my first refeed since my start of my diet, around 8 days ago. im planning on doing this every 8-10 days. this consists of:
1.5 cup oatmeal
1.5 cup(dry) rice
1 baked potato

split between 3 of my meals on top of my regular diet but i cut out the fat on these"carb-up" days.

any suggestions, experienced ones?????

Cooter your body needs fats... low fat diets leave you unsatiated and hungry and you may be inclined to "cheat" more... flax seed oil is good stuff!

Oh yea. It has about 120 calories per tablespoon, 100% from fat.

bully1027 01WHITECOBRA hit the nail directly on the head, its known as "The GOOD Fat". its part of any nutrious diet. it in my case is helping me feel not so depleated and rejuvinates my energy. Zero carbs and 50g of fat per day and im doing well. i have been at it for 8-10 days now and its going verry well. pics soon.

shawnQ: im about 5'8 but i bet my life im not 176 at this exact time. im proably in the range of 169-172. after i get to around 6-7% bf im going to increase my carbs like 100g per day for a few weeks and try to gain muscel by supplying just the exact amount of increase in my intake to allow growth, but not fat. im not verry sure how its going to go but a friend of mine has tried it with great result. currently my caloric intake is at a deficate and if i raise it to a surplus by just 100g of cals in a day, i can theroeteicly gain some muscle, and stay ripped.........can anyone share any info on this topic wiht me?

01WhiteCobra flax oil is one of the best sources of Omega-3 fatty acids. It also contains sterols which are precursors to testosterone. The Omega-3's help maintain healthy cell structure, promote metabolic energy and enhance immunities.

Flax oil has the proper ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids (3:1 ratio). Most literature I've read says to begin supplementation at 1 tablespoon per 100 pounds of body weight.

Flax oil is ounce for ounce, a better deal than getting your Omega-3's through fish (has about 2 times more Omega-3 fatty acids than fish oil).

Supposedly, flax oil is easily digestable and goes to work immediately, thus doesn't get stored to fat. If you use the 1 tablespoon/100 pounds supplementation.

Bully, how tall are you? You and I seem to be about the same size, I am just a tad heavier at 187. I'm about 5'10 or 5'11 I think.

I'm mostly legs and back though...need to work on abs, chest, and arms

(ADDED PICS)check out my new diet......getting shredded!

Im currently 176lbs. and 11%bf and feel fat as a sumo so im going to do something about it. heres my diet........

FOOD
meal 1:7egg whites, 1/2 grapefruit, glass of tea(unsweet), flax oil
meal 2: 8oz steak, 2cups leafey green vegis, 20oz water
meal 3: 2 cans tuna, 1 cup sugar free jello, 20oz water, flax oil
meal 4: 8oz chicken breast, crystal light 20
meal 5: 6-8oz ground wild game, 2 cups vegis(steamed)
meal 6: 2scoop protein shake with 20oz water(40g)

this is roughtly 250g of protein and under 25g carbs with just enough fat to stay energetic. im using a ECA stack and doing no cardio since my metabolism is fast and im naturally fairly lean. im going to post up some pics in a few weeks to show my progress.

TRAINING:
5-6 days per week, 1-2 body parts per day for approx 45min per day. ex: back, bis: chest, tris: legs, abs: shoulders, calfs: etc....

any suggestions for those who are in the know on contest style dieting????
