Yeah we are the same height too so I could try his clubs. But they look left handed im right. I took one lesson at Arlington Golf Center for 30 minutes and it helped a ton. I hit about 1 in 10 shots where I want to hit them.

Uhh.... I picked one of these up at Dicks and tried it. Thats the only time I have hit with a machine and can't remember my swing speed. I will have to go again and give it a shot. My misses are bladeing (sp?) it so the bigger heal should help that a lot. And my real scoring average is no where to be found. I kept score one time at Sotogrande, 4, 5, 6 on every hole. I am really bad but getting better.

dude there's a ton of last 'year model 4 cheap'/hook up/eBay special stuff going on in that bag.

$160 hybrid = 'demo' club (still in the plastic)... $40.

Less than $400 in the iron set including the shafts, fitting, grips, all custom work etc.

Siena putter from a guy that bought it on impulse, went back to a mallet PING, for $55.

Craigslist bag... $25.

Shit like that makes good golf stuff affordable. I have yet to pay Anywhere near full rate for any equipment.

Oh and on the wedge, worst club in my bag. I could leave my sand wedge at home and it wouldn't change my game one bit. Now I am pretty good with the pitching wedge and my 7 iron around the greens though.
The app is called iHandicap.

I love my wedges, short game and wedge play is where I make up for my sloppy approach shots. I just need more range time with it.

I do not keep track of my handicap yet, but I just found our what all I need to do to do that and will pay my 25.00 bucks and start tracking it as of this Saturday.

I normally shoot 95-103 with a best round to date of 93 and many 95's. I shot a 105 on Saturday and then played nine the sat before, it was 41 degrees and windy, so I had to walk away from what was potentially my best round going at a 41.

0 GT 2 Nike Tour 460 Driver, Nike 3 Wood, Cobra Pro CB Irons, Titleist Vokey 52 and 56 wedges and an old knock off putter that's been in my bag for 10 years.

J&T's 82 I am either cheap or old school...depends on how you look at it.

Driver: Taylor Made 360 (Found it used for $50) Replaces my old small head Taylor Made.
3W: Never found the need for one
Irons: Ping Zing (15 years old)
Hybrids: A couple of cheap no names from GolfSmith (But they work well)
Putter: Titleist
03-01-2010 07:05 PM
Hmbre97 Driver: Maltby CT250 11.5° - SK Fiber Pure Energy

3 wood: Maltby CT250 18° - SK Fiber Tour Trac 80

Irons: Taylor Made RAC OS2 - True Temper rifles

Wedges: Vokey Satin 252.08 (bent to 49°); Satin SM54.10; Satin SM60.08

Putter: Yes! Tiffany (center shafted)

Ball: Top Flite D2 Feel

Now if I could find time to play

pgans Driver: Taylormade r460 10.5
3 wood: Cleveland Launcher
3 hybrid: TourEdge Exotics
4 hybrid: TourEdge Bazooka JMax
Irons: Cleveland TA6, cavity back
Wedges: Titleist Vokey
Putter: late 70's Ping Anser

I've had most of these clubs for around 5 years and love them. I just got the 3 hybrid TourEdge Exotics because I had too big of a gap between my 4 hybrid and my 3 wood. Depending on the course, there are usually 1-2 par 3's where I'll need that club.

I really like my TA6's, I think they were $400 when I got them. Excellent entry set, the only "working" the ball I ever do is on accident anyway

The Vokey oilcan wedges are awesome. That's the part of my game which takes the longest to get back when I take some time off.

A friend found this old Ping Anser at a local golf shop a few years ago. I love the weight and feel of this club. Not to mention that it's a great feeling putting better than most of the guys with their $300 Cameron putter. I don't play enough to have my long irons and driver perfect, but I can make up strokes around the green.
02-28-2010 02:49 AM
Txstang1 Taylormade 320 irons
Adams driver
Calloway 5w and 3w
ping g2 putter
I dont even know what kind of sand wedge i have, some off brand.
02-28-2010 02:09 AM
Da Prez i suck and have no clue what my handicap is, i play with some old ass taylor made, cleveland hybore driver, and a ping putter...

02-28-2010 12:03 AM
bud I still play with my old Taylor Made Burners for Driver and 3 Wood... Old Mizuno Cimarrons for 3-PW. A Ping Eye 2-iron. Cleveland SW & LW... A Ping Answer 3 putter. No reason to change clubs though I have considered it many times over the years. Wondering if it would improve my game.

I use ProV1's most of the time unless a vendor gives me something free to play with.

Hrmm... havent played in a year or so... hope the weather stays nice for a while.

That's what I told Don, lol. But hey, at least when he gets the handicap down he won't have to upgrade clubs right??? I love my Mizuno MX-17's, very forgiving clubs, hit so solid and are a little heavier than most irons. LOVE THEM.

Driver: TaylorMade R7 425. Stiff shaft
3 Wood: Matching R7, currently broke
Irons: Mizuno MX-17 3-PW
Wedge: Mizuno 58 degree
Putter: Wilson, won it at a golf tournament and love it, lol.

Balls: I hit Nike One Vapors and as long as I'm not in a tournament I'll hit Pro-V1's on anything within 170yards to the green Can't afford to lose those mofos off the tee box on a bad day!

I am a mid handicapper, 12-15 probably. A little better when I get to play often. But I love golf and that's all that matters.

Taylormade R7 CGB Max 3 wood, 60g stiff VooDoo shaft, set to draw...
