Hi there. Honestly, I like more modern bikes but this model is really great. Do you have some photos of it? Thanks.

2165 Turbo Rail when I lived in an apartment I drilled a hole in the parking lot next to the curb and put one of those concrete anchors in the ground with an eye bolt sticking out.. then I put the bike sideways up against the curb and cable locked it to the eye bolt.
Then I covered it with a bike cover
then parked my car in the parking spot as close to the bike as I could..

although it isn't 100% I was damn sure going to make them work for it

HobieF3 I've never used one, Scorpio paging alarms always seem to get recommended though.

Like any electronic anti-theft device, it's only as good as the install.

Don't leave your bike outside at an apartment or large parking lot, EVER.

Motorcycle Alarms

I did a search on this and found everything to be a couple years old at best. Anyone have any recommendations on alarms for bikes with gps? Thanks

If you don't mind me asking, where did you see a 650r for $4379 OTD?

I like the 650r and was thinking about getting it for my first bike. I'm not too concerned with going fast, using it mostly for commuting (all city roads) and for a little weekend riding.

pos Me and a couple buddy's go to Royse city, its an easy going MX track, no pro's out there, some guys will ride hard but you can get around it with out getting ran over, and they have some trails behind the track if you get burnt out on the track, we started learning there so you should be fine if you try there, its called Brushycreek, its across from Redline

true, but I don't really plan on doing much else other than air filter and stacks. I was just gonna go with the pc3 right now since I can order it for under $300, pre-loaded with the m4 map and free shipping.
and when it comes to the self tuning modules, I was told this is better than bazzaz:

Thanks! Us old school guys like that more upright position. I cut my teeth on bikes from the late '70's/early '80's, and that was all we had.

the spindoctor they're a little pricey, but i REALLY like my rs-taichi gp evo gloves. super comfy right from the beginning, and held up great after my last crash.

and another big thumbs up to motoliberty.

Nope. Had a 900F (chain drive, big brother of the 750F). After reading about "Fast" Freddie Spencer and his laps at Willow Springs, I went and bought a new black one. They clocked the top speed at 141 back then, but I never got it above about 130. This 919 is a lot different animal! First off, it's 100 lbs. lighter, Fuelie, 6sp., etc.

Anyone with 4 wheeler...

want to go ride at an MX track sometime? I've been wanting to go see if I can make one lap without killing myself.

I think Boyd and Shady Grove let quads on their track. If you know of any others....

I have worked for a bike shop for a couple of yrs so got to drive alot of diffrent bikes, granted they wern't mine. I have been riding since 83 and those are the bikes that I have purchased/ traded. I don't think I can remeber every bike I've ridin. The Gs and the Gpz ninja were my favorites, the gixxewr would of been one but went road surffing for 690 ft on it. ( cooks lane to eastchase prkwy)

evil jose Definitely try the gear out for fit and comfort. I've bought stuff online without trying it out and either got something that wouldn't fit or something that wasn't what I expected. Motoliberty is hands down the best place to buy gear locally IMO. They do a lot for the sport with the various things they organize and I try and support them every chance I get.

Gonna have to hit us up for a group ride when you are ready Randy.

OC I saw another guy get an 06? Busa for 4K. The owner needed the money to pay of fines.

The deals are out there, but few and far between.

Maybe he saw a deal that he may never be able to get again on a bike he wants to keep.

I personally would have tried to flip it immediately and maybe double my money but then again, I don't ride.

I am not saying it's true. All I am saying is I saw a guy on a Busa who claims to have gotten it for a song with two guys backing his story.
