I seem to have a virus associated with Hotmail...

I am running Windows XP.

First thing I noticed is that even though I have "remember password" set on my Hotmail login, I still have to type my password in. This used to not happen.

Secondly, I cannot open most attachments I receive in Hotmail emails, even though at one time, they DID open, the same email copied (sent at the same time) to my Outlook on my other computer works just fine.

Yesterday I took some pictures and saved them and tried to send them from Hotmail and it would only let me attach 2 of 8, it said the rest of them had a virus.

I have Windows Firewall turned on but I don't necessarily have the greatest antivirus software installed.

Anything I can do to clean it up and make it work better? This used to not happen. Nothing else seems to be affected, just things related to hotmail.

Thanks....
