Anyone go to see it yet? I have to admit I'm interested, even though I know a large portion of it will be fabricated bullshit. I still like a good semi true story. Directed by David Fincher of Se7en and Fight Club fame.

Whoops, it opens next weekend, not this weekend.

If you like this you should check out facebook! It's probably more dramatic than this movie.

I'm reading Accidental Billionaires right now so hopefully the book and the movie are good.

They are saying that this movie will define my generation.

That kind of pisses me off.

Glad to know I am not that only one who feels that being defined by some guy's website is asinine.

Lol. Movies like A Clockwork Orange and Fight Club are generation defining. I doubt this is going to even come close. Media sensationalism and marketing ftl.

The movie is about 90% fiction, and 10% fact from what I understand.

Pretty much. Wasn't it written by the same guy that wrote the novel Bringing Down the House that 21 was based on? All the former MIT students said nearly the entire thing was BS, aside from the premise.

Yeah, it was the same guy with consulting from the guy that Zucker-whatever supposedly betrayed. That guy was apparently one of the initial investors in Facebook to get it started, but eventually stopped investing before it got big, and now feels he is owed compensation for the site that Zucker-whatever built.

Also there are two other people that were having "Z" design a social networking site for them and that's when Zucker decided to make one of his own, just better.

That's what I got from the dude on Attack of the Show.
