SG: Universe

So, has anyone watched it up to the end of the season tonight?

What does everyone think of it?

I dig it. Of course, I've liked every version of stargate.

I've watched all the series so far. This one has really impressed me. Even my girlfriend like to watch it. I like that it's darker than the first 2. I also like that they got Robert Carlyle to play Dr. Rush. As far as the cast goes, he makes the show. He's also directed a few of the episodes in this season. I'm extremely curious to see what happens with the Lucian Alliance or if they are just going to be a passing threat. God I feel like such a nerd...

I've been trying to Tivo each Friday night, but when girlfriend sees "Syfy channel" it is sometimes changed.
I too like Robert C. as Dr. Rush as well as Louis Ferreria or however you spell his name as Col. Young. I am infatuated with the chick that plays the leader of the Lucian Alliance, although I believe she will not be around too much longer. If I am not mistaken, she is the lead character on the new show "The Gates"
The story line has been amazing thus far and I can not wait until next season begins. I never had the opportunity to watch any of the other Stargate series so for me to say this is my favorite might not mean much, but it IS one of my favorite shows on television right now.

I do not like BattleGate Voyager. I tried to watch and wanted to like it

Needs more O'Neill, Carter, Daniel Jackson, and Teal'c. Not even Hammond of Texas could save this show.

I guess that's why I like it. It's a hodgepodge of a few different scifi shows I used to watch. While it does lack the SG-1 cast, I feel it was in the best interest of the series to move on and revitalize the concept because people just did not dig Atlantis for whatever reason.

FWIW, Daniel Jackson, Jack O'neil, and Carter were all in a couple episodes each this past season.

Just use the stones to send in Rodney and Carter. They will be back to Earth before breakfast.

For serious. McKay is due for an appearance. I just want to know what the hell happened after Atlantis landed back on Earth. I mean...really....no explanation on that one?

Been keeping up with the Season and I've gotta say I've been impressed. Definitely been impressed with how it's been coming along compared to the starts of SG and SG-A. What sucks now is how the seasons run, dammit gotta wait till October or November to start back up.
