A-Team Movie

It was only a matter of time. This was a must watch when I was a kid. Next thing you know we'll be seeing The Fall Guy and Airwolf.

A-Team Hopes to Bring "A" Game to Silver Screen
By Joyce Eng

We love it when a plan comes together.

Twentieth Century Fox's big screen adaptation of NBC's The A-Team now includes director Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces) and producers Ridley and Tony Scott, Variety reports. Original series producers Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell are also on board for the film, with the studio eyeing a June 11, 2010 release.

Though no roles have been cast, production is set to start in June after Carnahan and Brian Bloom rework a screenplay by Skip Woods. The 1980s series, about U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers on the run for a crime they didn't commit, centered on Vietnam veterans, but the movie will use the Middle East as the tour of duty locale.

Fox has long labored to transform the series into a film, with several directors, actors and producers attached, including John Singleton.

Are you A-OK with an A-Team flick? Who from the series would you like to see return? Who makes up your dream A-Team?

Airwolf was one badass series for the 3 seasons it was on...Season 4 does not count, it sucked.

as for the A-team
Hannibal: John Travolta or George Clooney
Face: Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or Will Smith(nobody said Face had to be white)
Murdoch: Billy Bob Thorton
B.A. : Ving Rhames or Tyrese Gibson

"The cast has not been revealed, though Singleton hoped Woody Harrelson will take on the role of Murdock, while Ice Cube and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson have expressed interest in the role of B.A. Baracus. It also has been rumored that Bruce Willis is being considered for the role of John "Hannibal" Smith."

Looks like it's a go, coming out this June I believe

As seen in the preview, the ''A-Team'' movie stars Liam Neeson as "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper as Templeton "Faceman " Peck, and MMA fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Baracus -- roles originally played by George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, and Mr. T, respectively. Jessica Biel also stars in the film, which is directed by ''Smokin' Aces'' director Joe Carnahan. It is produced by the famed movie-creating brothers, Tony and Ridley Scott.

I'll watch it, but it can't compare to the original.
