Hitman

I saw this movie a few months ago on cable and think it is a great movie. I am not into the slow motion karate type stuff (this movie only has a little of that), but something about the cold blodded nature of the main character and the twists and turns really had me interested. For a moive based off of a freaking video game, I thought it was great! I guess I missed it when it was released as a first line movie.

<-- does not play video games or see many movies.

I didn't see it. It didn't get great reviews, but I played one of the games back in the day. (Hitman 2, maybe), and it was really pretty cool. Good story for a game for sure.

I might have to check it out.

I love this movie but for different reasons. Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 was amazing. I had no clue what the movie was about ot what was going on but though that he and the Russian girl were so sexy. Poor Wade had to endure just about every movie he has starred in since thanks to IMDB and Netflix

I really think you should. I saw the title and watched it based solely on that. It is now one I try and watch every time it is on to see some new twist or get some point. I have probably caught them all by now, but I really like it for what it is.

I think he is what makes the movie. He just really comes across like a guy who was raised to be a killer and one that coudl pull it off.

What other movies has he been in that I may like, knowing that I am a guy and like car chases, shooting, and killing type stuff? LOL

None really... He was the drug dealer in Go which was really good and he did some chic flicks. He was the bad guy in Live Free, Die Hard. We actually watched an older movie this past weekend that I had no clue he was in... The Girl Next Door with Elisha Cutburth (sp) or whatever. I figured it would be some lame movie about a porn chic next door but it was actually pretty good. Olyphant plays a porn directer and was awesome. Total creep.

I didnt know Hitman was based on a video game when I watched it.

It's hard for me to follow a movie about a hitman that is bald and has a barcode tattoo'd on his head. I wouldnt think it would be too hard to pick him out of a line up

That was the first movie I saw him in (besides Gone in 60 Seconds, I guess). Crazy creepy character in that movie, definitely a highlight. One second he's giving you a hug, the next second he's punching you in the face.

I do like him as an actor. Even liked Catch & Release with him in it, which was about as chick flick as you can get. Kevin Smith was really good in it too.

Yeah I didnt want to see that, but I ordered it after seeing Hitman. I didnt even realize he was in Go, Die Hard etc until AFTER Hitman. He was in Dreamcatcher and Rock Star and Scream 2.

Catch and Release was a surprise. I thought it would be too chic flick even for me, but Kevin Smith was really great. Of course Olyphant made the movie for me I laughed because when we watched Hitman, I had no idea what was going on but told Wade "This movie kicks ass!!!" Then for the next few weeks movies with Olyphant kept showing up from Netflix. Wade was like... "hey didnt we just see that guy in something?"

If you havent seen Go, you should check it out. Its got a great cast and story line. Its one of those with several story lines that intersect. Another one is 11:15.... GREAT Flick!
