I recently heard this song in a Left 4 Dead trailor, it fuckin' groves. Unfortunately, the rest of their stuff I've found isn't near as good or even really the same music genre.

Anyone got any recommendations for bands that have a similar sound to this. A bluesy rock?

Thumbs up

They also used, "grounds for divorce," on the, "burn after reading," trailer. They jam hard, dude. I've got a shit-ton of bluesrock, but most of it is vintage:
Allman Bros.
- Eat a Peach
The Band
- Songs From the Big Pink
Ben Harper
- Any
Blind Faith
- Blind Faith (only album)
Canned Heat
- Hooker & Heat (a collaboration with John Lee Hooker)
David Vandervelde
- The Moonstation Houseband
Derek & the Dominoes
- Layla and Other Love Songs (do NOT listen while going through a breakup, without enough whisky handy)
Dire Straits
- Sultans of Swing (a best of, but a good introduction all the same)
George Thoroughgood
- Seriously? Who Do You Love?
Joe Tex
- Best of, vols 1&2 (predominantly released songs in single format, not albums)
John Mayall
- Bluesbreakers w/Eric Clapton
Leon Russell
- Retrospective is a great introduction to this guy
Mott the Hoople
- All the Young Dudes
The Rolling Stones
- Goat's Head Soup & Sticky Fingers
The Roots (I don't care if they rap, they function as a blues band)
- Things Fall Apart
Temple of the Dog
- Temple of the Dog
Van Morrison
- Moondance & Tupelo Honey
The White Stripes
-De Stihl & Icky Thump
The Who
- Meaty, Beaty, Big, & Bouncy
Willy DeVille
- Crow Jane Alley

There's really a lot of great shit out there, bro.
Edit: Adding my favorite selections under the artists' respective names.

Give me a dollar.
