I like these, though I'm not entirely sure why. Your results may vary.

Ernest Tubb:
Driving Nails in My Coffin
Rainbow at Midnight
Pass the Booze

Marty Robbins:
El Paso
Big Iron (I can tell you why I love this, because I first heard it right after I got my .445 SuperMag and thought, "Fuck yeah, that's awesome!")

Bellamy Brothers: (I think they're country, right?)
Redneck Girl
Old Hippie
If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body...

Buck Owens:
Act Naturally
Keys in the Mailbox

I don't consider myself a big country fan. I really haven't listened to anything new since I was a kid, but I did grow up on it playing in my parents' cars everywhere we went. Instead of naming specific songs, here are some of the artists I like:

Eddie Rabbitt
Willie Nelson
Hank Jr.
George Strait
Garth Brooks
Randy Travis
Merle Haggard
Waylon Jennings
George Jones
Tim McGraw

You are like me. Except I found that I really enjoy Big & Rich.

But, as I stated earlier, most people don't consider them country.

I need to mention some of the good stuff from the '70's, like: David Alan Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker, B.W.Stevenson and Willie Nelson. Growing up in Austin, these guys were always in town. It wasn't uncommon to see them get up on small stages and do impromptu stuff. Man, I miss those days...

I like old country.....pre '90 the best, but have listened to Rodney Adkins recently. I like "I wanna be like you" (song dedicated to his son), and "Cleaning my gun" (song about daughter)

I guess it's all the gay songs they sing.

Toby Keiths last good stuff was 1994, now he sings gay hip hop shit and wannabe patriotic crap.

Big and Rich just suck along with their gang Gretchen Wilson and the black Troy guy.

Hell, if you like Big And Rich, do you like Cowboy Troy too???
There isn't a country song out right now that I could name at all. Some of the newer acts that aren't bad though, are Randy Rogers Band, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler. I also like some of Jack Ingram's stuff. Gary P Nunn is pretty good. Some of the stuff that the Robison brothers put is pretty good, and Reckless Kelly is a good little band...
