You should have stated what you consider old, or better yet the decade. Lots of 80's bands mentioned in this thread.

I'm good with your list except for the above mentioned. Some of my dislike toward them is from the whole beating out Metallica for an award thing.

that goes to show how bogus awards shows are.

you mean you don't like Thick as a Brick, Cross Eyed Mary, Locomotive Breath and Aqualung? man i was lucky enough to see tull in concert back in 1980 when they were really good. i think we had a bunch of black tar opium that night. LOL

Red face More

BTO (even if they are Canadian)
Pink Floyd
Quiet Riot

I do not qualify these as bands, but are noteworthy

The BOSS Bruce Springsteen
Tom Petty
Phil Collins (yea kinda wimpy but still ok)
Robert Plant
OZZY
ALICE Cooper

'96 GT, PI conversion ,lots of bolt ons, Mach 1 chrome rims, NOS, and still not enough power. Not only looks slow, it is slow.

No love in this thread for Zepplin, The Stones, or Lynard Skynard for crying out loud? You can't go to an open mic without someone calling for freebird.

Bon Jovi isn't even a rock band anymore. They're country

Oh, and Sammy Hagar isn't a band.
