Awesome show. Even the wife had a good time. HOB is now second to Nokia when it comes to my choice venue. HOB is practically Nokia on a 1/4 scale. We missed Soilent Green, but Chimaira was better than I expected. Dethklok was amazing, absolutely amazing.

Now we're both kind of relieved about HOB and can't wait till Coheed in August. I will say that we will be eating across the street at Hooter's beforehand next time. HOB's food is mediocre on a good day. To me, Hooter's food is the suck, but it beats HOB. I'm now certain the only reason HOB is still open is for the shows. The restaurant area was barren.

Brendon Small, one of the creator's of Metalocalypse, writes and sings most of the music for the show and the songs on Dethalbum. He also does the voices for Nathan Explosion, Pickles, and Swisgaar. In concert, he fronts the band, singing and playing guitar. His voice is computer generated to come out sounding like Nathan Explosion. The back up band is comprised of the rest of the guys who played on the Dethalbum.
The guys are animals on stage. I was in awe at how fast and precise they were.

They have a large screen behind them which plays a cartoon music video to each song, with all the blood, guts, and brutality you would expect. My words can't convey how awesome the show was. We had a blast.

Dude, next time go around the corner to 30 & Ackard and hit up Lee Harvey's if you want some better grub. Their burgers fucking rule.

Give me a dollar.
