I am behind two weeks now, though I know what happens in last week's episode thanks to that loudmouth asshole in the other thread.

I'll be done with it by tomorrow, hopefully.

Sorry, but LMGDAO!

First they killed of Deadwood, then The Sopranos, and now The Wire. Carnivale got cancelled to, didn't it?

I think all they've got left is Big Love, which sucks (but Ginnifer Goodwin is hot!), and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I don't watch either of those like I did the others.

The wire was an awesome show. HBO ends some of their series too early. Deadwood was pretty good, Rome was pretty good also, both could of went on for a while. I never really like carnival, but would watch it if it was the only thing on. Did anyone ever watch the mini series the Corner? It was about 10 episodes and most of the people in it were on the wire.

Overall, it was a good ending. I was really only disappointed with the Marlo situation, and liked how almost every character that's even been in that show has been seen in the past couple of episodes. It's too bad the way that Dookie turned out; I didn't see that one coming.

This is one of the few shows that have actually managed to make me see the characters as a real person and not just a character in a TV show. NYPD Blue, The Sopranos, The Shield and Deadwood are about the only others that have done that - all of which are either now off the air or nearing their final season.

I will miss this show, dearly.
