It's actually tomorrow. I have tickets. I think I actually have an extra ticket if someone wants to purchase it from me. It's going to be sick.

wow.

the only band I even recognize on there is from first to last, and quite frankly, that's enough to let me know that's going to be one shitty show.

Lol! August Burns Red pwns so many of the other metal/metalcore/progressive bands out there. It is some high quality ish. The Bled, Every Time I Die, and The Human Abstract all freakin' kick ass as well. Listen to it, and give it a shot. If you can handle this style of music that is. Look on myspace or something.

They sound like generic Killswitch Engage. . . . . .
I like killswitch, but i couldn't stand the voices on those bands. no depth. . . sounds like angry kids.

Generic Killswitch? Killswitch is "progressive metal/hardcore". They are in a different genre of music. Killswitch is slower and more melodic. These bands are vicious and fit more in the "metalcore" category. I do love Killswitch, though. They are one of my faves for sure. There is nothing generic about August Burns Red.

Maybe that's why killswitch doesn't suck, and they do?

Thumbs down

I thought it was just etid tonight, I was going to go, but nevermind now, douchebag scene kids galore. I like the bands, but can't stand the people that go. If I could get a backstage pass again, and watch from the side of the stage I would go.

Well the show was sick as crap. There was so much energy. Every Time I Die finished it off like a champ. I got some sweet shirts, too. Unlike most concerts, shirts were only $15. A lot of the tour proceeds are going to a nonprofit organization, and that's pretty cool.

Every concert I've been to had their shirts priced at $30+. I would love to see some more good bands play with reasonably priced merch. There were some pretty violent dudes in the mosh pit last night. Swinging arms and kicking all crazy and stuff. It was still cool as crap.
