I Am Legend

Saw "I Am Legend" tonight and it was pretty good... Probably a little over hyped IMO, but over all I really enjoyed the movie, and you really connect with will smith's character... Lots of CG used through out the movie some better than other, but it doesn't take away from the film unless you let it. Not really very many funny moments, or typical "one liners", but you go along for the ride as will smith hits rock bottom. I guess ford had their hand in on it, and the GT500 sounds sweet as hell flying through new york! Since it is set in the near future, check out the advertisments around the city, and news flashes.

Oh yeah and be ready for lots of loud noises to startle you Worth the $9.50

I think I'll skip Will's poor acting and pop in my White Zombie CD instead. I Am Legend the song is better.

If you read/liked the book you will feel like you got fucked. This movie is so loosly based on the book that the name does not fit.

it was ok... the GT500 still had the window sticker on it and obviously they don't sound that good stock! and the "vampires" are the mutated humans that are infected. the scene with the dogs is pretty freaky! the wife said she'll be having bad dreams for days to come. about a 6.5 outta 10

I cried during that part then on the way home we saw a coyote walking around (we saw the LATE show so this was about 2:30 am) I was afraid to let my puppy outside to pee.

Not what I expected for a Will smith movie, but good over all. That shelby sounded wicked, and that dog was cute as hell. The ending left me wanting more, kinda like they had to rush the filming. Good movie. Worth the watch.

Yep. That just about sums it up. Good flick, although it felt like they "summarized" too much. I could have actually stood for it to be one of those longer movies.

I've never read the book, but the movie certainly had nothing to do with vampires. It was much more like a zombie flick than a vampire flick.

At least for me, it was just a remake of the Omega man with Charleston Heston.

I thought it was decent, entertaining nonetheless.

I did find it interesting how they completely changed the meaning of the title, from the book to the movie. Didn't like how they did it.

Boooooo. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I had a feeling they wouldn't end it the same way as the book.

The Last Man on Earth, Omega Man, and this current version are all based on the original I Am Legend book by Richard Matheson.

I really liked it. Considering it was a very basic story it pulled me in pretty damn good. The vamp chick had a great rack.

Wound up seeing it yesterday (slow day at work so we took off and caught a movie that afternoon ) and I enjoyed it. In some aspects it reminded me of Tom Hanks Castaway i.e. Wilson compared to Smith's German Shepard.

It was also nice to see Smith showing off some of his acting talents (I think he's a good acting by action hero standards) by displaying a wide range of emotions. Not his typical Bad Boys action movie with comedic one liners. I didn't care so much for the flash backs nor the ending but overall I'd go see it again and buy it when it comes out on DVD.

I felt like the flashbacks were a necessary attempt to tell more of the history. I wish they had spent more time showing that stuff, personally, instead of jumping around so much. The ending also came on too quick, and I was disappointed, but looking back I think it needed to end that way.

It left me wanting more. Hopefully when the DVD comes out it will have a lot more scenes, making the movie longer than 100 minutes.

If you paid $5.50 somewhere for a new release it must have been a matinee. Now, even some matinees are $7. Go at night and it's $8.50-$9.50 most places.
