stabbing at Red Blood Club last night

here's the news blurb, and it says 4 stabbed but everyone I've talked to said 3... http://www.nbc5i.com/news/14565175/detail.html

So the story goes some people were throwing punches in the pit and got kicked out. There was a scuffle when they got bounced and they came back with knives and started stabbing the staff. They went to Lee Harvey's to hide out after that and the police had the place swarmed, the cops were coming in and shining their flashlights in everyones faces and they were circling the building for about an hour or two. Apparently RBC is "closed" now. Pretty fucked that people do shit like this and more than likely fuck over one of the last venues in Deep Ellum.

As in:

Millions of Dead Cops?
More Dead Christians?

Er, one time, in 1985 or so..... they came and played at this place called the Tombstone - out in a field by a graveyard off of Sun Valley and 820. Me and my buddy Jason, and Dennis Enger... took turns standing in on vocals for the band on accout of the singer being just a little bit too drunk to stand up.

There was a whopping 20 people there to see them play. I believe they got power from the old man's house next to the tombstone factory and ran an extension cord out to the amps and what not,

It was quite a bit of fun. We were all doing speed and huffing freon that nite for some reason.

True story.

MDC is the band.

Millions of Dead Cops and Millions of Damn Christians were albums by that band.

More Dead Cops

Magnum Dominus Corpus

Or did they change their name throughout the course of their career?

But judging by your response, I see you probably know what you are talking about.

Since we're talking about Texas punk, what about the Big Boys? Fuckemos? Butthole Surfers.

Man, those were some great bands.

I was always under the impression that their name was...fluid...it changed with each album.

On top of that someone broke in a couple nights ago and stole and trashed a bunch of stuff. They think it was bums because they smashed open the bar top video games to get the coins out.

Also here's the two white power douchebags' mugshots
