Planet Earth DVD set

Anyone bought the Planet Earth DVD set? Is it worth $100? Looks good, and I never did see much of it on TV, but I am tempted to get the Blu-ray set.
Could save $10 buy ordering on line, but Best Buy has it for $99.95 plus tax.

I do remember some amazing looking shots of the mountains, and a frog.

You can get it from Fry's for $69.99 for either HD-DVD or BD. I've got the HD-DVD version and it's pretty nice. Since you got the LG like I do, if you want to borrow mine for a little while, just let me know and we can meet up.

Thanks for the offer, may take ya up on it!

Have you done the update to your LG player yet? Not sure what all it does, or if it realy is even necessary. I had one HD movie skip and pause a few times, oter than that, no problems. It was Hott Fuzz that did the shit.

Yes, I've done all the updates. I only really had any issues right after I got it...before the updates.

We've got them all recorded on the dvr. I'd say it's worth it if you wanted to buy them.

..

I bought the HD DVD set from Amazon for $69. I think it's worth it. The kids enjoy the heck out of them and they learn a lot about nature and the animal kingdom. Some of the shots are breathtaking and you get to see places you would never see.
