Johnny Horton's version of "The Battle of New Orleans"
Marty Robbins' "Big Iron" and "Singin' the Blues"
Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John"
are some of my favorites at the moment.

What do you consider old?

I consider Bob Wills and Hank Williams old. Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Sons of the Pioneers, Jimmie Rodgers, Bobby Bare are a few others.

john conlee, johnny lee, merle haggard, waylon jennings, hank williams jr., johnny cash, eddie rabbit, charlie rich, charlie pride, don williams, bellamy brothers, george strait, anything by keith whitley, desert rose band, glen campbell, alabama, lynn anderson, rosanne cash, jeannie c. riley, tanya tucker delta dawn album, etc....

some old school porter wagner and dolly parton is pretty good as well if you like the classic country genre.
