Any Muzzleloaders out there?

Just wondering if anybody on here enjoys shooting traditional or modern muzzleloaders?

We dont have a rifle deer season but we have a early mozzleloader.

Those new TC guns are tits. I've never shot one myself but i do like them.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

I enjoy using a Inline Muzzleloader when hunting public land. Do I enjoy shooting it? Shooting is FUN, however with a muzzleloader, you smell like rotten eggs after you shoot a bit, and cleaning the gun is MESSY.

I still would rather shoot a muzzleloader than use a shotgun on public land for deer hunting.

I deer hunted with a cap and ball muzzleloader for a couple years and enjoyed it. It is messy to clean though.

I shoot a 61 springfield and a couple flintlocks every now and then.

I bought a CVA .50 cal in-line a few years back for a public hunt we were drawn for; we got drawn this year again for Lost Maples, and can't wait!

The only think I've killed with it so far is a pig...

I enjoy shooting muzzle loaders. I have an 1861 Springfield replica 58 cal which my Dad and I cast our own bullets which is a blast. I also have an Traditions 50 cal inline (which is going up for sale) that I don't mind shooting. As for the cleaning I was able to find some Bore Blaster that you just spray in the barrel and let it foam for 30-45 mins then run a couple of cleaning patches down and its clean. Glad to know there are other fellow shooters in the metro.
