Jam-o-matic no more

In a moment of weakness I picked up a Para Ordnance C6. Supposedly the smallest full size 1911 on the market. Although it is not THAT much smaller than my Colt Officer. It felt great, pointed well, and the price was too good to pass up.
As usual it was a serious jam-o-matic. After some minor tweaking it is now a shooter. I have now put 400 rounds thru it with no problem. Various mfgs., cheap stuff as well (Winchester WB, S&B, Monarch, and Wolf). All 230gr. round nose. So now it's on to HP's. Also put a set of Pearce finger grooves on it after this pic was taken.

You had to send it out to a gunsmith? Para wouldn't fix it?

There are only so many hours in the day man. There is no way that Para Ordnance can make guns that jam AND fix them all.

I had a Para Warthog, that thing couldn't feed 5 rounds without jamming. I hated that piece of shit so much

Yeah if Para would only pay just a little more attention to detail, they wouldn't be having to fix all these guns. The only thing wrong with mine is that some guy got in a hurry and put in a rough cut extractor. Two minutes more with a jewelers file to take off the burr and radius the bottom Sheesh.
