Saiga 12 Gonna buy it

Well guys I have been holding out for one to show up for sale but have not found any that are not near the price of new so I'm going to pony up the $499 for a saiga 12. I will prob grab the 20 round mag as well. Atlantic Firearms has them at $499 plus free shipping. Unless anyone knows of a local guy that has them for that price or a cheaper website I'm going this route. So please chime in if you know of a better deal!

Yeah, you could convert it yourself and get the same result for wayyy less. Figure 499 for the S12 and $250 max for conversion parts and furniture, which I think you could do easily.

Post up pics when you pick it up, they are sweet guns.

Exactly what I am looking at. I have heard nothing but good things about them. They come up for sale every once in a while and they are always close to what they were bought for. As for the accesories I'm not sure what to do, but they look like theres a lot of customizing that could be done.

I would buy the cheap one, add a folding stock, and get a stamp for an SBS. Why fuck around?

Give me a dollar.

It appears to have a short ass barrel, breaching brake on it, about a ten round mag, extendable stock. That is also one with the AK style handle and trigger. Most the imported guns have an integrated stock and handle.

If you want a Saiga 12 the best place I have found to get them is on the local show circuit that covers Frisco-Ft. Worth-Mesquite. There is a place called SAW that is out of Sunnyvale that goes to those shows and sells them for $457 each. That is the best price I have found.

If you want mags, go over to saiga12.com and look in their products section, you can get 10 round mags for $30 each ($27 if you order 4 or more) and you can get 20 round drums for $99.

I love my Saiga 12. I bought it a few years ago and started modifying it immediately. After sitting on an early waiting list for the MD Arms drum, I can say this drum is definitely worth it and the company stands behind their products. After some fine tuning, my Saiga 12 shoots reliably and smooth. If you are into competition shooting, you have probably seen these guns dominating many matches.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to have to check this out. It will save my ffl fee, and the drums for $99 is a really good deal!

I was at a pigeon shoot in S. Texas & a guy had one of those. He wasn't using it in the competition, but he did loose a few shells for us. I snapped a bunch of pics, 'cause I'd never seen one & wanted to share it here. Some dirt-bag stole my camera before I could download them.

Just FYI, I ordered four of the ten round AGP mags from Saiga12.com last week for $27 and got them in this morning. They look great.
