So I was just thinking. Is this a demo thing where you get to watch a company shoot their guns?

Guess you didn't click the link.

You’re all invited to spend a day with the LaRue crew in Liberty Hill, TX this October. You'll get to shoot everything from OBR’s to Stealth’s…and, of course, classes & demos on just about every type of mount we make. We’re also planning a friendly little contest that might win you a new OBR 5.56! All shooting abilities are welcome.

There will be LaRue vendors on-hand to provide interactive demonstrations of their fine products.

Needless to say, world-famous LaRue BBQ, Chips and Refreshments will also be provided, so come hungry.

So, get yourself to Central Texas, & take your best shot!

I talked to them a few weeks ago and they stated "no need to rsvp, just show up and be ready to shoot and eat!"

Guess they didn't think it would get out to so many people...

I had a blast. After standing in line for so long to the vendors tent, I think i made out like a bandit. Picked up a Troy rear site, 3 P Mags, 2 scope covers, Larue decals, T shirt and cap, all for 177. Not bad considering the same Troy rear sight online sells for 120.00. Can't forget the 2 free P Mags.

Maybe next year they'll have some of the patches of ankle breakers removed and deep cavernous holes filled in

Appreciate it bud, hell I wasn't thinking. Myself and four other friends also went.

To me, this was trial and error for Larue, so maybe next year they will have a more efficient layout (shorter lines) If so, I'll send you a PM if ya'll decide to go again.

It would be nice to have the clay target shooting going. I wouldn't mind shooting my own shotgun and ammo for that.
