vortex strikefire or the bushnell ar optics

i am not gonna spend 300-600 bux on a red dot for my ar's. (aka wife said hell no) any info thoughts or dealings with these pieces?

Well I have no experience with either of those, but I bought one from a guy on AR15.com, he has his own site now. I have it on my AR and it works great, IMO it's worth a look.

If you are going to go cheap might as well get a clone from Marsh at Primary Arms.

Just get a good backup sight. My friend got a Sightmark aimpoint clone and it broke while on the front of his 4wheeler.

I have the Bushnell on one of my AR's. It has worked fine with no problems so far. I only paid $89 for it from SWFA's sample list..

for my ar15 flat top uppers would i want the low rings or high rings? from my readings i am assuming the high is preferred. any input gents?
