Looking to Test-Shoot a Beretta 92FS... Gun Range in N Fort Worth?

I just bought about 200 rnds of 9 mm , I called up my shitty ass gun range that I go to on 28th St in Fort Worth "The Shooters Club" ... but they don't have a Beretta 92FS for me to try out.

Any recommendations on where to rent this specific gun? I'm trying to decide between a Glock 22 40 Cal or a Beretta 92FS

The bullet trap has 92fs's for you to play with, but you have to use store bought ammo.

Glad you decided on the Beretta man, you will not regret it. Also, you will like these-

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MAG129-36.html

They are made by mec gar, fit flush with the bottom of the gun, and hold 18 rounds. I have some and they work great!

Thanks man! Yeah, I just liked the feel of it alot more and plus I didn't have any problems with it all and it was the rental.... I could just feel the quality, plus you were right, it does look sexier.

I'm probably going to pick one up at Academy for $550 (new) or wait for the FW Gun show here in a little bit. Is that a reasonable price for it?

$550 isn't bad, but look at the Beretta Forum linked above, there are always some on there and you may find a better deal plus a ton of information on them in general.

Good choice though, I love the 92's. That is wher EI started but got a PX4 Stom instead, still want a 92 in the future though.

Inox is just the coating/color, not mechanical / design difference.

How do you like that Storm? Nice looking gun -- possibly my next purchase one of these days.

Well I will start by saying that I have shot maybe 2 other semi-auto handguns that weren't 22's, so I don't have a ton to compare it to...

That being said, I love it. It was my first gun, I used it to qualify for my CHL. I love the feel of it and I love the look. Never had any problems with it at all, I would estimate I've got 1200 rounds down the pipe.

I would also love to get a Beretta Cougar, it is more or less the steel framed version of the Storm.

I've shot a 92fs at On Target as well, the place just outside of Benbrook on 377 South. I ended up buying a P229 instead though, I really liked the idea of having the choice between 9mm, Sig .357 and .40 cal with a 30 second barrel change.

They do shoot very nice, I mean they are after all the standard issue sidearm for most of our military now (as the M9). I just prefer more stopping power over the ability to carry more rounds.
