My dad's new nickel plated, engraved Colt

My dad bought this gun and it finally came in last week.

It's a hammer-less Colt in .380, nickel plated, engraved, and has pearl handles.

It's beautiful.......and NEVER been fired !!

Very nice. There was a company at the Frisco gun show that had insanely awesome Colts..

Not my cup o' tea, but very nice.

I hope it was at least test fired from the factory....

Sounds like a pretty good deal depending on the year and another thing that can raise the price is who engraved it. Very Beautiful!!!

I worked on a Colt 1903 last week. Not as flashy though!

My dad has 2 or 3 more of these 1903 Colts and this one is BY FAR the nicest one he has.

These were generally referred to as "barbecue guns", because they would get dressed up and put on their nicest outfits and "prettiest" guns to go show off at the barbecue.

It's a cool gun, but I wouldn't really want a gun I couldn't shoot some rounds through. Just thought some of you guys might be interested in seeing it.
