AR-15 Optics question

I have a S&W M&P-15 .223 and need some optics for it. Everyone has recommended an EOTech, which I know are good, but I am looking for a scope that can get me a nice visual of a target 100 yards away.

I usually get the " Trijicon TA01NSN" reply...but I dont want to drop 900-1000 on a damn scope. I understand its a badass optic, but my priorities are not lined up for something like that.

Is there another option that is cheaper that you guys would recommend? I dont know necessarily what I'd like to spend, I just know $900-1000 is not in my budget.

Suggestions?

Nikon has a great new line of AR riflescopes.

Take a look and see what fits your shooting needs, then Google the model for the best price.
