I've trusted my Ruger LCR and my Kimber PCII with my life every day since getting my CHL...but I also have a new Sig P229 coming that will most likely become my primary daily carry gun.

Anything that has proven to be a reliable machine. Currently, pretty much anything I own. When I pick up a 1911 and have run about 1k rounds through it, it will be on this list as well.

Glock 19 (nightstand gun)
Glock 26 (on me frequently)
S&W 642-2 (always on me due to ease of concealability)
AR15 (for the SHTF moments)
Remmy 870 (loaded with 00 buck)

Different situations call for different tools.

You didn't specify just handguns, btw.

I'd say any gun that was there at the time that saved my life.

Having said that, 90% of the time it's my XD40.

Well, it is the one I choose to remain downstairs in my nightstand. I could have my Ruger P97, Springfield XD9 or my Hatsan 12ga...but I just have incredible faith in that Glock. I know it will go boom.

Glock's for me. I've owned around 6 Glock's since the early 90's. Started off with a 9mm and moved to .40 S&W once they became popular. I've owned my current 27 for a little over 10 years and my night stand gun (Glock 22) for a little over a year.

The 27 has been flawless IMO since I owned it with the exception of my second range outing with it. I went through 2 boxes of +P Corbon's and half way through the second box the slide went back but never fully came forward. Went to rack the slide thinking it was an FTE and the slide almost came out. Apparently I broke the plastic guide rod. I was like WTF and went and bought a new guide rod. Less than a month later I got a new one from Glock asking that I return the old one (guess they knew of a problem) but I had already thrashed it. I've shot thousands of rounds through this gun and that's the only problem I've had. I don't shot +P anymore and other than that one incident this gun has performed flawlessly.

I've got a Kimber in .45 ACP but I can't say I would stake my life on it. I've owned it since 2002 but it hasn't been shot as much but what I have shot (probably 800 rounds) it hasn't given me any problems.

The gun I trust is my XDm .40.

I don't carry yet, did the class and paperwork but have not mailed it off yet. I will do that in October when I am home on vacation. I don't know what I am going to use when I carry, the XDm frames are too big (I think).

Nightstand gun: Sprinfield XDm .40 (will probably sell this to get the new .45)

Brother's room (lives in my house while I work overseas)
Nightstand gun: Glock 19C
Other: Mossberg 500 (00 Buck)

Two,

My Ruger p89

and

My Kahr CW45

Both have been rock solid for years.

That being said, I sure am getting close to 'pulling the trigger' on a Kimber Pro Carry if I can find the right price.

I would like a Sig or Glock in .357 Sig.

If I could only have one handgun and I had to depend on it for the rest of my life, it would be my S&W 686.

A Glock 35 if I am away from home.

However I don't by shitty automatics so they are all good if needed. I've got a couple of sigs and an XD.

Since there was a problem with the pic in my other post, here is the one gun I could live with for the rest of my life:

Of course, I would have to have a couple of these to go along with it:

Luckily I already have everything pictured above
