Back ground check

I am taking my CHL test tomorrow and am wondering how long the wait currently is once I send in my paper work.

Thanks

I think it took about 3-4 months to get mine in the mail.

The wait is much shorter now (I believe they have it mostly automated now). So you might have it in about 6 weeks?

True that....when I took mine last year, it took 79 days from the day I mailed till the day I recieved my CHL in the mail.

My younger cousin took his 2 months ago, and got his back in 6-7 weeks.

Is there a way to track the status of your application online?

If you check it once though you'll end up checking all the time waiting for it to get done. I sent mine in 34 days ago and they are in the process of printing it tight now.
