I'm a vendor been doing work for them since they opened in the early 90's, finished a job yesterday up there. Nice store, you could put all the gun stores in the metro together and have a hard time matching their selection.
I was in there today...this is a debatable statement. They had a shitload of Glocks, XDs and Rugers in the case and an assload of ARs and pump shottys on the wall. I wouldn't say it was the best selection. Only 5 Kimbers (all of the Carry II series), 1 Springfield 1911, no Colts. They only had one type of .45 ACP JHP that I saw. It was Remington Golden Saber 185 Gr. I asked if they had anything in a JHP in 230 gr, nope. They had a total of 5 different Wilson Combat 1911 magazines, none of which were the more popular 47D variety. They had the 47DE, 47DT and 47DC, but not the plain old 47D. And I can get the WC mags cheaper from Brownells anyway.
I did pick up 2 boxes of American Eagle .45 Auto 230 gr FMJ, a 3 set of bronze bore brushes, and some Shooter's Choice FP-10 lubricant.
All of that said, their prices did seem fairly competitive. The Glocks without night sights were right at $500. I didn't even see them at that price at the Allen gun show.
They do have a few AR parts that I would like for upgrades to mine. Other than that, I'm not really impressed. It's great to have a gun store in McKinney again, though. I'm sure they will still assist in trying to make me a broke mofo.
