I love it. Hopefully we can get Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. to move from Connecticut to Texas.

The gun sells for about $340. A laser sight — like the one Perry uses — will cost about $180 more.

"Our governor can outshoot your governor. That's what I like to tell people from out of state," said salesman George Gibbons.
======

Any jackass can shoot a gun pretty good if they have a laser sight.

Yep, but I don't think he is the typical jackass.

I wouldn't buy it but you have to admit that this is a genius marketing ploy.

My dad just told me to order him one...

Apparently there is only 1000 made. If anyone knows of one, let me know.

EDIT: the article mentions they are available with a laser.. I havnt found one with one yet. Does a regular LCR come with one?

Not sure where you are located, but the last one I posted from GunBroker is in Garland. Buy it now was a joke but the reserve may not be.

Judging by the way that ad was written, they probably post on here, too!

Fwiw, locations are usually not accurate around here, which you should know by now. Didn't see any reason for you to be a smart ass to him for trying to help you out. Lastly, "local" usually implies the metroplex, in which we are based.

A more appropriate reply would have been "Thanks for the links but I'm stuck in Colorady Springs" or the like...

GL on your search.

Found one in San Antonio, and had a friend pick it up for me.

1000 made, and this one is the 999th one. Cool!
