Are you the bastid that keeps buying all the WWB .45 before I can get any there?

I go up to that store several times a week and found only once, some WWB in .45.

Now .40 cal... they have boatloads of that on hand.

Is finding ammo really an issue anymore?

Every place I go has a shitload...

I went to Academy the other day for some .45 ACP and they only had the 250count box that Remington makes. He didn't know when they would get anymore.

I then went to Bass Pro to find some and they had a very minimal selection for .45, but I did end up getting a box to blow through at the range and a box of hollows. They only have one type and brand for each.

WWB in .45 seems to be a little more difficult, at least in the Keller/HEB area.

I have noticed though, that the Wally World that the OP mentioned is getting pretty heavy in their ammo bin. They just can't seem to get any significant quantities of the afore mentioned loads.

Do you remember how much the Remington 250ct was?

Not specifically, I remember it started with a 1xx and I told him no thanks. I guess it would have been cheaper than the other crap I bought where I only got 50.

If it were more than $125 it wouldn't have been such a good deal anyway.

I would be that "bastid"...the guy that was working told me that Tuesday is the best day to be able to find the .45, after that it's a crap shoot.

I've talked to a few people who work that counter, included the cute mexican chic, and have been told several different times that I should look. Hell, even the dept manager gave me some BS about getting there after 9pm when the trucks are unloaded.

Sure, if they've got WWB in the 100rnd pack, I would take a couple boxes.
Thanks Matt,

David
