Would there be any interest in....

AR chambered in 7.62x39?

And I'm not talking about the old unreliable 7.62x39 AR's

I have one that has never missed a beat. Never miss-fired, never stove piped. This includes shooting wolf ammo.

If any one is interested. I can make yours reliable, or build you one.

no seriously though .... are they coming down any in price?
any mag issues whatsoever at all? price of mags ?
accuracy reports? actually i have a heavily modded sks, so if there is no improvement in accuracy i could prob give a rats ass.
seriously i have like 15 custom things i have done to my sks now, including things like moving the bolt throw on the left hand side, and a perfect trigger job with stop, etc.

I'm going to take my "Highly modified" SKS and my AR to the range to compare side by side. Your more than welcome to go to see for your self.

yeah i might be interested , when / where?
do i know you from torquecentral ?

im also kind of curious if you are testing decent 762x39 ammo
my stuff's all crap cause wasn't really thinking it would be worth it for an sks.
but if you wanna do an accuracy thing , gonna need something decent to shoot

Yes you do.

I'll test what ever I have on hand. Most of it is wolf. HP. And the reason for using wolf, this is what most people buy in bulk.
Both weapons are 16" both will shoot the same ammo. This is just a comparison of grouping. The only difference, the AR has a 1x25 red dot. the SKS has a 4x9 scope

This is just to see if the SKS, or the AR keeps a better group.

And it will be a Quail creek unless some one has some land I can shoot on for the test.

hmmm man that is far for me
we could probably shoot at my relatives property in van alstyne , but you'd have to let me know if that is too far for you then

my sks is 16" as well and all i have is the same wolf ammo
however i did put my big ass scope on it for accuracy testing, and got i close enough to hit paper

not expecting much accuracy on mine, the barrel not looking so hot
but atleast i can use the 9x zoom to make it a little easier and it was recrowned.
We could take it off once i test mine. I have no intention of leaving it on there, so we could swap it to yours.

let me know about van alstyne thing. i need to test another rifle too, so nearly all of my shooting will be 100yards
you probably know where i live so we could meet at my house then head up 75, if that makes it easier. I use free fuel (sig check), so no worries.

Been too long pm me for your addy.

Van alstine is good. I have the targets ready to go. And a good range finder to mark off 100 yards. And a good cam to document it.
