Bought my first 1911

Wasn't really looking at all. I was pawn shop hunting for an SP101 for my girl to replace her current rossi. Saw this, and thought the price was right.
Came with the box, and only one mag.

After some looking online, I don't see many that are double stacked, this one IS doubl-stacked. I'm guessing it holds about 10 rounds.

What would be a fair price for this used?

Springfield Ultra-Compact

There is one of those in a Denton pawn shop off the square right now. Saw it yesterday. They are asking 699 for it. It is a little rougher than the one you have pictured.

I used to have one and used it as a carry gun. It was a good gun and $450 is a real good price. My only issue was getting mags. The last time I looked online they were expensive but this was months ago.

Springfield makes some really nice guns. I've got a mil-spec 1911 and an XD9 and neither has given any trouble at all.

Thanks guys!

I wouldn't mind keeping it, but I actually bought it to trade.

I wonder If I could trade it for an SP101 and $100. (they give me $100)

There is a gun show this weekend (colorado), and I figure I'll carry it around, and see if I get any offers. If not, Cash America Pawn said I could return it within 30 days and get my money back. I may wind up just keeping it though, I do like it.

Yeah $450 is not a steal, but a good price. I would not return it, you got a good solid gun at a decent price. If you were wanting to trade it out I think you would do OK.
