I was thinking about picking one up myself but after reading some of the reviews on Texas hunting forums I'm going to hold off a while.

When they work, they work really well, but the pain in the ass part is that they dont work in temps below 50. In the summer, that's no big deal but I hunt more in the fall, winter and spring where that could be an issue. They are working to correct the problem and if they do and it works correctly I'll pick one up.

I'm out at a friend's ranch for the wkd, we went to the gun store and got the nd3 and the nd5 and had a lot of fun with them tonight. Mounted on S&W M&P 15-22 and it is a pretty slick setup. Only got a couple of armadillos, though, but some big hogs were up in some brush next to us but wouldn't show themselves.
