Heh, Brady campaign sent this link...

I'm mad that many states have a better score than Texas (by better, I mean lower).

LOL @ Utah with a straight zero.

And seriously, cali has a 70 something? I guess the Brady campaign will only be satisfied if all guns are banned and concealed carry is prohibited completely.

I want Texas to have a low score.

If the rating is Brady skewed, I don't care how "well" we do.

I think they messed up their own scorecard. How did we get points in ages 16/17 but not 14/15 and 13??

What a bunch of crap. Looks like their new buzz words are illegal gun trafficking. Also looks like they are implying that some states like Texas do not have background checks for firearm purchases. They really do play to the ignorant.

By the way Utah really does deserve a "0". It's a great place for firearm freedom. New Mexico scored a "4" and Arizona scored a "2". All of those states are better than Texas in regards to firearm freedom. California scored a 79.

Well there are no background checks for face to face purchases...

True, most states do not require background checks for private sales, but the implication is that there is no back grouind checks period. If one was ignorant about what was really going on then one might think that there was no background checks at all. This is one way groups like the brady campaign win supporters. They distort the truth or lie outright. All issue groups do this word play to some extent (NRA is not above playing with words) but some really do thrive on ignorance and fear.
