Bought a new rifle

I just purchased a Remington 300 Weatherby Magnum with a scope from a buddy of mine for $250. It's in AWESOME shape. No pics yet because I haven't picked it up, but I'm excited!

Winchester Mag?

Remington has a 257 Weatherby mag rifle.

That was my first thought, was that it was not a WBY mag. It is not common on Remington 700s, and hard to find on ANY new 700s, but they are out there.
My guess was it is an older Remington, or a .300wsm.

It's a Remington 700AS in 300 Weatherby Mag. From my understanding the 300 Weatherby Mags were only made from '89-'91.

I haven't picked it up yet, but I'll post pics when I do.

Did it come with a muzzle brake the only 700 I've ever seen in .300 Wetherby had one and I was wondering if that was factory or not.

That is the one I have seen, It has the factory installed brake on it.
Regardless $250 for a 700 with glass is a screaming deal. Any info on the scope?

It's got a Bushnell scope on it. Not sure of the model number. Once I pick the rifle up, I'll snap a pic of it and post it.
