Ruger 10/22 Stock

I have a Ruger 10/22 that I have had forever and the stock wood stock is showing its age..

I am definantly a novice in the Firearm Realm so I was looking for recomendations on a replacement stock.

-I use the gun mostly at the ranch to shoot cans/fart around/varmit hunt.
-I would like to be able to use a sling since I carry it alot walking on the property.
-I like the look of the "tactical" or "synthetic" stocks.
-I'm cheap and slightly poor currently.

Thanks,
Trey

Look for a nice folding stock.

Had one on my 10/22 and it was pretty badass.

91 Coupe, off road h, underdrive pulleys, short belt with a/c, electric fans and 3.73s. 3060lbs. Daily driven 20mpg average.

All stock 91 coupe. Stang' Bangin'

I love the hogue stocks. Feel great, built well, and compatible with a bipod or sling.

They make them so you can use them with stock barrels too.

Nothing wrong with a nice factory replacement wood stock. They are cheap and you can put sling studs in them. That is just one option, but if you want the tacticool stuff i dunno what to tell you haha. To me a 22 is just that a 22 no fancy bull barrels and shit just a cheap plinker and saves me money on hides when trapping.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

Beat me to it.

Only issues I have with the Houge is mine had to be sanded around the front of the barrel channel to get it to fir right.

Check the Cheaperthandirt catalogue. They run good deals and have an entire dedicated section for 10/22 or MidwayUSA

Bull shit, you can buy new take offs for that price. They are all over the market, you just have to hunt for the better prices. $50 for both is super common.
