I have one and it is a great piece. There are only two things I knock it for. Stock length mag release. I dont have mamoth hands so it is a bit of a reach for me. The checkering on the front strap is sharp. Shoot a few hundred rounds in some quick double or tripple taps and it rubs your hands. It does work great with gloves though.

at the risk of irritating the 1911 purist, if i am carrying a 5in 1911 i want more than 7+1. i find the grip size marginally larger on my para 14+1. then again i am a shitty shot possibly requiring the extra 7rds.

god bless.

Thumbs up

Buddy of mine had his eye out for one last year, I found him one for 1300, and he jumped all over it. There's currently one next door for 1300 also.

I've shot it, that's a helluva nice pistol. Congrats

I carry a Para P12/45 (Compact 45) but has a capacity of 12+1. Grip size is only marginally larger than my Springfield 1911A1 (Full Size 1911).

Did some tweaking to my P12 and now it feeds and functions flawlessly. When they first came out, the earlier ones had some issues, but mines a later one. Ended up polishing the feed ramp a bit more, and made sure the frame and slide mated well.

Is that an ambi-safety? Would you have to modify it to add a Crimson Trace grip?

Nice gun BTW.

You can get 8 round or 10 round magazines for the single stack 1911.

47D Wilson Combat is 8 round and excellent.

TRP is going for $1800 on gunbroker with a rail.

Looks like a beaut.

I looked at the TRP, and the Kimber Warrior, having had a TRP in the past I went with what I know that works. The Kimber felt good but I liked the TRP a little better.

Pretty nice looking pistol. Wish my Kimber had a light rail on it.

We can't carry 1911s.
