So I'm Thinking

I broke my left leg in 2 places and am wheel chair bound for the next couple of weeks. I'm thinking mounting a belt fed to it...

That would be cool. Maybe you can fab up a motorized chair like that movie silver bullit, then have a beltfed mounted to it.

Was playing ice hockey. On a partial breakeaway, some scrub allegedly horse collard me. Then we fell and he fell on my leg oddly, thus breaking my leg. Don't exactly remember. Just the fall, snap, and drive to the hospital.

I know how that is, lost most of my calf muscle when I was younger - was new to 4 wheelers and got on one without brakes, put my leg down to stop it and ended up going WOT on my left calf, tore all my muscle out. I was in a wheel chair for months.

clean breaks/sets? it sucks as long as they were clean, you'll be up and running before you know it... it'll suck but all of a sudden, you'll be healed up and the bones will be stronger than before. Don't skimp on the calcium in the mean time

The smaller bone had clean separation. The larger bone I don't remember. I know I got a rod down my leg and some other metal.

Two bonuses are I get handicapped parking and a card for when I fly saying I have metal in my leg.

Downside is it won't be my truck in the handicapped spot.

Oooooh, a Tib/Fib break. I did that back in 1997. It took me 8 months to fully recover. I still have the 10 screws and rod in my ankle.

Yeah, I'm gonna have metal for the rest of my life. I just hope once I recover I'll be able to skate again.

Well, shit.

My son might have a torn meniscus in his left knee. He's out for a while, and he has an MRI tomorrow afternoon.

Ouch, good luck with that, my gf in high school fucked hers up somehow, had surgery on it, and hasn't walked right since.
