Any LEOs need a Glock 21?

Kiesler's has used PD trade in Glock 21 Gen III with night sights and 3 mags for $379:

kiesler's only deals with law enforcement agencies, us government agencies, military, individual officers, retired military with retired id, and security agencies. Kiesler's does not sell to the civilian market.

13+1 .45 auto glock... hmm. I don't know if I could get over how ugly they are. I guess I could put it on a lanyard and swing it around my head to attack individuals.

That's why I posted "any LEOs"....

I would buy one, but it's just not on my "need" list right now.

I don't think you really need any more guns, I'd say you probably have one for any type of situation short of anti-aircraft

I use to have an AR-50 several years ago, but I sold it because of ammo prices (lol now). I was looking into getting a Bohica for the price difference (my AR-50 set me back 2.5k) but after seeing it blow up peoples hands I've become wary about ever getting back into a .50BMG. I hand load my .50, and if I happen to load it slightly hot, I don't want a weapon that will explode like a bomb. It needs to be high enough quality to be able to take the slight inconsistencies in hand loads.

FWPD doesn't allow Glocks for duty carry either.

It all goes back to the Chief Windham days. He hated Glocks, so we couldn't carry them. You have to remember when I hired un under Windham I was issued a Smith&Wesson Model 65 .357 Magnum revolver.

This new Chief is from Phoenix where they carry Glocks. I forsee them being approved in the near future.

Straw purchase? No WAY!

But, I might buy one and decide I don't like it. Then I'd have to sell it

Hey Matt, any guns on that website you don't really care for, or think you probably won't like?

I worked with a bunch of old 1911 coots myself. They made fun of the "Kid with the toy gun" until we went to qualify. LOL

I'd find Tonka stickers stuck to the side of my holster and other shit like that, though.

I just bought one of the 686's before Christmas:

http://www.gtdist.com/ProductDetail....mber=SW-164222

S&W makes a damn fine revolver, and I'd love to be able to carry it on duty. It has an OUTSTANDING trigger. There is zero creep, zero side-to-side movement, and a clean, crisp trigger break. It's almost like a competition gun, and when you're shooting full-blown magnums through it, peple stop shooting and look down the line to see what you've got. I love seeing a flame in the daytime!

Out of all the guns I have, the Glock 21 is still probably my favorite. It just fits my hand perfectly.

If I remember correctly, I purchased it from an LEO that decided it wasn't his cup of tea. I paid more than that price with only 2 magazines and standard sights. It was new too though.

I wonder if the wife would complain if I picked up another one....
