Semi-Auto: Stoeger 2000 or Excell Auto 5

Which one would you get? Both are around the same price range and have a little different style of operation. I have seen both good and bad reviews on the Stoeger but have not seen any bad reviews on the H&R Excell. Gun will be used mostly for skeet and occasional hunting.

Last sentence, skeet and occasional hunting. Hunting will mostly be done in east Texas so I want something that if I drop it in the mud or water and cant clean it for a day or too I wont be out too much.

Ah, I need to learn the read the entire paragraph. Keeping an auto clean is essential for reliable operation. Honestly, I would go with one of the cheap O/U's at Academy. I have heard some good things and as long as there is no obstructions in the barrels it will shoot.
